Dear East Ramapo Community: The Office of Purchasing is responsible for the purchase of textbooks, educational materials, furniture, office supplies, buildings & grounds equipment, computer and electronic equipment for classrooms and offices, and school buses. Competitive bidding procedures are followed for any commodity purchases in excess of $10,000 per year, and public works (construction) in excess of $20,000. Requests for bids are published in the Journal News and Hamodia Newspaper, and bid notices are posted on the Hudson Valley Municipal Purchasing Group and the ERCSD websites (currently at CURRENT BID, QUOTE & RFP LISTINGS ).
