Ø  The Hohokams lived in dry deserts


Ø They had large cotton fields, where cotton was grown for textiles

Ø   Hohokams settled in southern Arizona


Ø   They also migrated from Mexico



Shelter




Ø  Skin from animals was used for the walls, carpets, and many more things in their household

Ø  They enjoyed eating corn, squash, beans, agave and geese



Ø  Hohokams hunted, raised livestock, collected shellfish, and fish
